Caroline laughs at herself.
- Aside from music, what interests you?

Children and women's well being. I am rather actively occupied with the prevention of the abuse of children and women. I have worked against pornography, for example, the awful snuff movies where women were actually tortured and killed. I may still get involved with specific issues, but I see it more as my job to express feelings and wake up people in that way. I want to see the whole picture.
Caroline continues to describe a ritual she participated in once. Starhawk (Miriam Simos) from USA was facilitating the ritual. The participants were asked to remember someone who had died, and through dancing, celebrate what they had learned from this person. The dancing got more and more wild. The drumming louder and louder, and faster and faster. High and intense, and close to getting out of control, Caroline was wondering how the leader would gather the group back together. Get the participants Œgrounded' again. Then Starhawk positioned herself behind some of the dancers and started humming a song quietly. Within a minute and a half it was dead quiet.
-I was impressed, and also convinced that it is not with bombs and force that you can reach people. Nobody wins in the long run with violence and riots. I believe that we need to get in touch with our feelings and understand that we need to slow down. Silence is the only thing that can beat noise.

"Talk With Eve" is released on MTG Record Company and distributed by Sony. Do you have just as much control as when you did everything on your own?
-
I had complete artistic control, but, as I mentioned earlier, this is a live recording, and that means that I couldn't control every note like I did with "Compassion". Here, we just go for it, and welcome small mistakes. We wanted the energy, and we got it.
-What do you believe in?
-
I believe in love. It is a simple image of God. Love is life, makes the world go around and gets the heart beating. I like the philosophy that says: All life is holy and should be treated with care whether it's people, trees or animals.
-What does this mean for everyday life?

I've become a much better listener. It is easier for me to see the beauty around me. That, in itself, is a great richness. With the attitude that everyone is equally precious, you meet people in a different manner. You generate a much stronger will to work together and resolve conflicts. Some of the problems I've had with Christianity have been the power structure: People over animals. Priest over man. Man over woman, and so forth. I don't think this works well. Everybody needs to start in their own back yard and try to love and accept themselves. We must first change our inner selves, and with that, create a ripple effect outward.
