– What was your most recent cultural experience?
– The ladies world championship in skijump in Midstubakken was absolutely a fabulous experience .It was especially magical to see the flying heroines as they came soaring out of the fog and landed perfectly only feet away from where we were sitting and enjoying Kollen-dogs and hot chocolate.
– What has been the best cultural experience as of late?
– I thought the movie «About Gods and Men» was fantastic. It's beased on a true story from the mid nineties. Eight Christian monks from France live their quiet lives in an old cloister deep inside the Algerian mountains. Most of their time is spent praying and singing, but the monks are also useful for the local population with their knowledge of medicin and other life wisdom. The movie moved me to tears and inspired me to get even more involved in issues concerning human rights.
