1) Caroline Waters celebrated her first album release in Norway in 14 years, both at Cosmopolite and here at Bare Jazz.
2) Waters had to pick up the guitar to avoid long breaks in her career after a neck injury that prevented her from playing the piano.
3) Today, the singer/ songwriter, folk- and jazz artist is back with both a piano- and a guitar album, and a concert repertoire to boot.
Caroline Waters used to be known as Caroline Asplin, Per Asplin's daughter, and has kept to the Los Angeles stage in the past 14 years. Now that she is increasing her efforts on her homeland stages, she releases two albums simultaniously, the quartett project Being Totally Alive, and the solo project Exposed. The press conference happened at Bare Jazz, the record store, in Oslo, but Waters is not intending to let it be her last concert in this country, in spite of risking snow on a May day in the capital.
