Stopped by the FBI - Released CD

Caroline Asplin has been an artist since she was on stage as a two-year-old. Today, she is 26, and releasing her first solo album, "Compassion". The CD is written, produced and financed by Caroline, herself.

Compassion" is dedicated to Caroline's friend, Stefanie Stroh.
Stefanie had traveled around the world for a whole year. She disappeared in the Nevada desert the day before she was expected home.

Detective
Caroline immediately flew to USA to look for her friend. She spent four months following up the police investigation.

-I stuck my nose in everything and found lots of dirt, corrupted police departments, among other things. I finally was told by the FBI to stop playing detective, that it was too dangerous for me. I had to make a choice. Should I stay a frustrated detective or get out there and create something?

Caroline chose the latter, and this led to music studies in Los Angeles.
She attended the Grove School of Music for two years.

- I bought a home studio to make demo tapes, - I had already decided to make an album. The record companies was hesitant, - they didn't know what box to put me in, and they thought I should get an agent. They made it seem so difficult, and so I just went and did it all on my own.

Impatient
The CD was recorded last summer, and just after New Years, Caroline presented her debut album for friends and fans in USA. Two weeks later, she had to return to Norway because her student visa had expired.

-I tried the record companies in Norway, but got the same reaction as in the USA. Some of them said they wanted to release it a year from now, but I am too impatient to wait. I decided to release it on my own record label, and MUDI Distribution saved the day. Now, it's in the stores!

Caroline Waters has invested a great deal in this album. She will break even at two thousand units sold.
